According to a study by Adobe Education, 76% of Generation Z students and 75% of teachers wish there was a greater focus on creativity in their classes. Educational priorities have evolved, and today’s lesson plans focus more on interactive tools and less on memorization.
Digital art classes encourage digital creativity and build soft skills as the focus on STEM expands to include the arts and educators adopt a STEAM approach
Educators see tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud as ways to help students use the arts to build those needed problem-solving skills. In the 21st century, students need to have the ability to be creative; not necessarily to be artsy, to have an arts background, but to be creative in approaches to a problem. These apps give students an opportunity to flex their creative muscles while building skills using technology they’ll encounter in the workplace.
To make of the most of your virtual classroom, it’s critical to make sure you have the right equipment and setup. Many smartphones and tablets offer HD cameras that are suitable in quality for art classrooms.
